Abstract :
Based on the structure and characteristics of the frequency-scan antenna, the near-field computational model is constructed. The array element´s phases are presented firstly and the radiation power of each array element is speculated according to the antenna aperture distribution. On the basis of the phase and power, the equation of radiation fields of each array element is obtained. According to the superposition principle, the near-field radiation model of frequency-scan array antenna is achieved. By the near-field model the near field distributions, pattern, and beam width are computed, which are consistent with the test data and prove the model´s correctness.
