Abstract :
This paper describes a new grouping strategy that was applied to both the modified fast far field approximation (MFAFFA) and the conventional fast far field approximation (FAFFA) methods, comparing each method in terms of solution time and accuracy. The test cases used are a set of infinite conducting cylinders having progressively increasing electric radii under excitation by a unit amplitude TM plane wave at normal incidence
