Abstract :
A new FMM-CG-FFT algorithm is developed to analyze the finite-sized periodic structures accurately and rapidly. The new algorithm combines the fast multiple method (FMM) with the conjugate-gradient fast Fourier transform (CG-FFT) efficiently, which is very useful to solve the radiation and scattering problems of the finite-sized periodic structures. The new algorithm makes a considerable memory reduction without sacrificing the accuracy and computational speed. Numerical results validate the efficiency and accuracy of the new algorithm
