Abstract :
Map World is the first National Geographic Information Common Service Framework (NGICSF) of China, which is an authorized map website and offers comprehensive geographic information sources online in China. Map world, as a national geographical information service framework, has proportionally performed several processing. So, it enables fast collection of geographical focus in a disaster area through Map World. This paper presents a new architecture to extend our work on Map World and to connect Map World with emergency management, which can provide better emergency-oriented geographical information services. Emergency-oriented Fast Image Map System (EFIMS), a system built by the authors, supports rapid processes and producing of emergency image maps online.
