Abstract :
Planar and cylindrical dual frequency folded slot antennas utilizing a self-matching technique have been presented. The self-matching technique greatly improved the performance of the antennas while not further complicating the antenna design. The antennas exhibit very good return loss and radiation characteristics. The antennas demonstrated a gain between 3.2 and 5.3 dB. The antennas are ideally suited for communication and radar systems, which require robust antennas that can operate at multiple frequencies
