Abstract
The analysis of the electrocardiogram (ECG) is not a moderate task when noises corrupt the ECG and hide important information. The interest of the work is to remove high frequency and power line interference which is known as the most common type of noise found in the ECG signal. ECG signals are subsequently displayed on a computer screen in a standard form, which is highlighted in this work using a procedure used to reject the common mode of the signal. An expert system is used to identify several heart diseases. We emphasise the technique used to develop the knowledge base of the expert system
