A Measurement System for the Performance Assessment of Car-Integrated GSM Mobile Communications Systems

A novel approach for the assessment of car-integrated mobile communications systems is presented. The developed measurement system excels in fast installation and ease of use since no cable connections are required. It allows for the investigation of the entire communications system from a customer´s point of view. The measurement results are accurate and can be reproduced. Various ways of analysis are possible. Hence, this system is excellently suited for the performance assessment of mobile communications systems. Since the employed Bluetooth adapter supports up to eight devices an extension of the system by further components is possible
