    The design of an amplifier element and an active array are presented for use in an X-Band active microstrip reflectarray antenna. To separate incident and reflected waves, as well as minimise the separation between amplifier elements in the array, a dual feed aperture coupled microstrip patch antenna is used as the radiating element
