Abstract :
The continuation of an active call is one of the most important feature of a wireless cellular communication system. Handover process enables a cellular system to provide such a facility by transferring an active call from one cell to another. Different approaches are proposed and applied in order to achieve better handover service. The key parameters that play vital role in handover process are received signal level and the received signal quality.
