Abstract :
Modified edge representation (MER) line integration was used to determine the total field for the defocused feed parabola antenna. The accuracy of the total field calculated by the MER was compared with that of the physical optics (PO) method. The results demonstrate that there is basis for the application of MER to the scatterers with finite radius of curvature as an established methodology
