Abstract :
With China´s continuous economic development, the requirement of transportation capacity is increasing, and a corresponding increase in highway construction is raised to an important position. As regions, which highway route straddled, often have volatile features and complex geological environment. When facing the complicated geological environment, the traditional exploration methods in the field have too many difficulties to cope with, and it is difficult to enhance and ensure the overall level and quality of engineering geological investigation. In this paper, the combination of ETM, TM, SPOT and other different resolution multi-source, multi-temporal remote sensing images and model three-dimensional images superposed by aster satellite to provide digital elevation model (DEM) are used in the interpretation of complexity of the study area along the road of adverse geological conditions; and through field investigation on the interpretation of the results of verification, the results show that this method is effective.
