  • Abstract
    The synthesis problem of the waveguide array according to the prescribed amplitude radiation pattern is considered. The analysis problem is solved with due regard for the mutual coupling of the array radiators. The variational approach for the statement and solution of the synthesis problem is used. The functional representing the mean-square deviation of the prescribed and synthesized radiation patterns is used as a criterion of optimization. The appropriate nonlinear equation is obtained. The investigation of solutions of this equation is carried out for the various prescribed radiation patterns in a wide range of modification of the array electrophysical parameters
