Abstract
An 8-bit flash-type A/D (analog-to-digital) converter than can convert over the Nyquist input frequency (up to 200 MHz) at 300 Msps (sample per second) without glitch errors is described. This ADC is fabricated by 2.5-μm, 10 GHz f T bipolar technology, and can be operated at up to 440 Msps. For high-performance glitch error suppression, a novel inhibitory circuitry and a comparator design with an inner clock buffer are proposed
