Abstract :
A microstrip square loop stub loaded dual-mode filter with parasitic coupling between source and load is designed and fabricated. Two transmission zeros are obtained separately. One is controllable and inherent in its dual-mode coupling structure, and the other is introduced by the parasitic source/load coupling. The filter operates on 2.4 GHz with a fractional bandwidth (FBW) of 5.25%. It is evaluated by experiment and simulation with good agreement.
