Abstract
In this paper, chaos and bifurcation in current mode controlled Cuk converters are studied. At first, basic operation, bifurcation and chaos is investigated. Continues time simulation, iterative map method and eigenvalues analysis is used to obtain chaos and bifurcation of Cuk converters in current mode controlled. Then, a compensating ramp signal is used to improvement chaos behavior and increase stability of converter. Bifurcation diagram is obtained for analyzing of different states. The results yield improving chaos behavior, increasing stability and expanding the stable duty cycle time.
