Abstract :
In this paper we present a new radiated emission prediction method for equipment with relatively long interface cables by using cable current measurement techniques. It takes into account the current distribution waveform on the cable, the current fluctuation, the image effect of the cable, the emission maximization procedure at the OATS as well as the radiation pattern of the receiving antenna. It is proved to be a useful diagnostic tool to predict preliminarily electromagnetic emission from long cable equipment
