Abstract :
A novel miniaturized four-section stepped impedance resonators (SIR) filter is presented. The size of the miniaturization SIR band-pass filter (BPF) reduces to 75% of the size of conventional hairpin SIR BPF by utilizing space effectively and using multi-section impedance technology. The simulation shows novel filter can achieve near performances compared with conventional hairpin SIR filter but with smaller size.
