Abstract :
This paper provides a review of adaptive PI control application of a heat exchanger as implemented via distributed control system (DCS). The control scheme is developed by a typical industrial design approach in order to reject disturbance over the whole operating range. The results show that tighter control with less operator attention is achieved.
