  • Abstract
    As a discipline, electromagnetic compatibility is not being covered in undergraduate and technical engineering courses. EMC engineers, working in industry, government R&D institutes and user departments, etc., have usually moved into the field from general disciplines of engineering. With the growth of the discipline of electronics, the electronics engineering curriculum itself has now many sub-divisions which are eventually related by this new growing subject of EMC having an interdisciplinary nature. In the light of this, it has become imperative that the students of electronics engineering degree courses, while learning the basic principles of communication-electronics systems, should also be made thoroughly aware of EMC implications in these systems
