Abstract :
A 30-kΩ transimpedance preamplifier IC for DC to 500 Mb/s, optical burst data reception is described. At 200 Mb/s, dynamic range is ⩾26 dB, isolated pulse input sensitivity is -29.5 dBm, and pulsewidth distortion ⩽1 ns for -5.5 dBm<Pin<-29 dBm
