Abstract :
This paper presents a dielectric resonator filter configuration implemented as a single piece of a high-K ceramic substrate. The new configuration considerably reduces the cost of assembly and integration associated with conventional dielectric resonator filters. A 2-pole and 4-pole single-mode filters of this type have been developed, manufactured, and tested. The measured results demonstrate the features of the proposed filter configuration. The filters can operate either in single modes or dual modes. It is very attractive for use in low-cost high-Q mass production wireless filter applications
