Abstract :
The idea of dynamic response between 2-D symbol and 3-D point cloud is put forward after the analysis of the advantages and shortcomings of 2-D symbol and 3-D point cloud, for resolving the limitation of 2-D map and 3-D scene. It combines the advantage of 2-D map-macro-view, wholeness and abstractness with the advantage of 3-D scene-locality, reality and immediacy, at the same time overcomes the abstract ambiguity of 2D map and wandering disorientation of 3D scene. Finally, take the data acquired by the vehicle-born laser scanning system developed by Capital Normal University for example, the author of this thesis integrates a system of dynamic response between 2-D symbol and 3D point cloud based on VC++ platform, ArcGIS Engine and OpenGL. This system is applied in a demonstration project of one city in south China.
