Abstract :
For the purpose of detection of counterfeits a metal-oxide gas sensor array is applied to measure the odor bouquet of textile probes. Since this has to be done in arbitrary environments the sensor data has to be processed to separate the probe signal from environmental influences. In this article we propose a method for signal separation based on independent component analysis of multi gas sensor array data.
