Abstract :
Several DC blocks are built and tested to determine open-end length extension in coupled line circuits. For practical DC blocks, the line length extensions are found to vary between 5 and 20% of the design length. The results for length extension vs the gap length ranging from 0.1 mm to 0.7 mm for CPW DC blocks with finite ground planes are given in the paper
