  • Abstract
Land is one of the important resources and material ensure mend for human being to survive and develop. The land resource is a fundamental element in the complex system of “population-resource-environment-development (PRED)”. By using ABM technology, based on Repast platform, establishes the decision-making model of the changes of land use type and classifies as three types of individual, company and government the groups of people who are most responsible for the changes of basin land use type. People move randomly and based on the decision-making model the changes of land use type takes place under the conditions of nature and society condition. we use the land use type of 2005 as the original land use type simulates the future changes of land use type in the Erhai Basin. Finally we bring forward some advice in how to develop the relevant policies concerning the sustainable land use in the Erhai Basin.
