Abstract :
This paper reports an interconnection scheme of isolated DC-DC converters with the addition of a switching circuit for voltage control. The developed topology provides avenue for control of duty ratio on both the primary and secondary of isolation transformer, providing greater flexibility for tuning of output behavior, giving it an inherent fault tolerant capability and enabling modular connection of these converters. The principle of operation of the switched modular series connected DC-DC converter and testing of the hardware prototype have been discussed here
