Abstract :
Low distortion of output voltage and fast dynamic response in presence of unknown distorting loads are the main attributes of any high performance inverter. This paper proposed a control strategy which improves the performance of the inverter powering typical nonlinear loads. In the proposed strategy, a nonlinear control scheme is combined with the double loop controller. Under no load or linear load, the nonlinear control branch has little effect on the system performance. While with nonlinear loads, it increases to a value that will improve dynamic and steady state response significantly. The analysis and simulation validated the performance of the proposed control strategy. The experimental waveforms also prove it
