Abstract :
Molecular Interaction of Doxycycline hyclate with saturated fatty acid, the Myristic acid have been investigated using Viscometric Ultrasonics and refractometric techniques at physiological temperatures 310 and 313K. The temperatures 310 and 313K are favouring inter and intra molecular interactions between Doxycycline Hyclate and Myristic acid in the non-aqueous environment. The excess thermodynamic parameters indicates the type of inter molecular interaction present in the system. The study of this thermodynamic molecular interaction of drugs in the aqueous or non-aqueous phase provides useful information in pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry. These interactions are the key to understand the structural or characteristic property of drug molecules.
