Abstract
Flood disasters are among the world´s most damaging types of disaster and occur frequently in the world, which cause great personal injuries and property damages. To improve flood risk management and decision-making, a flood risk assessment spatial decision support system architecture is proposed that capitalizes on the latest advances in remote sensing, geographic information systems, hydrologic models, numerical weather prediction, information technology, and decision theory. In this paper we focus on system overall structure and main functions, and expatiate the system key realization technologies.
