Abstract :
This paper proposes the concept of power system post-emergency voltage control (PEVC) as a measure to defend important area in a power system against voltage collapse based on a framework of the third-category control and multi-agents system. The main feature of PEVC is to launch functions in real time according to unexpected power system events via information exchange. Both the dynamic co-ordination of continuous control and discrete control during voltage collapsing period are discussed. Main contribution of this paper is to provide a demo system to study PEVC and with the demonstration of this system, the importance of PEVC and feasibility of multi-agents framework are illustrated.
