Abstract :
The vector map scanning is one of the main method that GIS acquires data. The raster data can be converted to vector data by affine transformation. But it only can eliminate the whole distortion error of map, but the local distortion and local systematic error can not be eliminated. The method of least squares collocation can estimate local deformation signal system at the same time calculating transformation parameters, which can eliminate or weaken the impact of these errors, improve the accuracy of digital. The feasibility and effectiveness of least squares collocation can be validated by example in the process of digital scanning, We draw a conclusion by contrast that the least squares collocation mode is the first model of Vector map scanning.
