Abstract :
Erhai Lake has a important role for the development of the city of Dali. After the mid-70s of 20th century, the intervention of human activities causes many problems. The lake level dropped and area reduced. Water quality gets serious by non-point pollution which leads to changes in ecological environment, biological diversity and accelerate eutrophication. With the people´s improving of environment sense, the thought for constructing Erhai Lake environment information service based on ArcGIS and Flex is presented. Firstly this paper summarizes the Erhai Lake Watershed situation and put forward the importance of constructing web publishing system of Erhai Lake. To make the WebGIS system has high efficiency, better flexibility and scalability, the system uses multi-model architecture, system is divided into the presentation layer, application layer and data layer. Flex does not directly connect with database, so the paper will specifically describe how to connect with SQLServer through Flex and J2EE.
