Abstract
Urban spatial land-use structure (USLUS) is always in the center concerns of cities´ sustainable development. However, it is difficult to use any direct standard or criteria to assess it. Therefore, this paper adopts land value as the key criterion for the assessment of USLUS. A set of quantitative measures is proposed by settling the characteristics of the ULLUS as the combination of the neighborhood relationships and the mass balance of the USLUS as a whole so that metric information, topological information and thematic information are all taken into the consideration. Finally a conceptual evaluation is conducted. The research can provide both theoretical analysis and feasibility demonstration for building a physical ULUS simulation system.
