Abstract :
With the spatial statistical function of the GIS, the index system, composed of the stability of hazard-formative environments, the hazard of disaster-making factors, the vulnerability of hazard-affected bodies and the disaster-resistant capacity, was constructed based on the Disaster System Theory and the Chinese Nature Disaster Database. The assessment and the regionalization of the integrated natural disaster risk of Chinese corns were accomplished by using the GIS spatial analysis. The results indicated that the natural disaster risk of corns in China can be divided into ten regions, which can be a scientific basis for the agricultural disaster risk management and the corn insurance regionalization in China.
