Abstract :
The novel energy-recovery snubber (ERS) suitable for zero-voltage zero-current switching (ZVZCS) phase-shift full-bridge (PSFB) DC/DC converter is presented. The proposed ERS consists of an inductor, two capacitor and three diodes. With this LCD ERS, PSFB converter can achieve ZVZCS independent of various line and load conditions. The operation, features and analysis of this ERS are illustrated in this paper. Computer simulation result and experimental result on the 2.4 kW PSFB prototype using the proposed LCD ERS are presented to verify the operation principle
