Abstract :
A longitudinal slot in the broad wall of a rectangular waveguide filled with a centrally positioned dielectric slab is considered. Radiation coefficients of the slot are studied using the modified eigen-wave method in the excitation problem. The dependence of radiation coefficient and resonance properties of the slot on geometry of the system, dielectric permittivity, width of the slot and its position in the waveguide wall have been studied in the X-band
