Abstract
A new soft-switching control scheme for the auxiliary resonant commutated pole (ARCP) ZVT inverter is proposed in this paper. In the proposed control circuit, only instantaneous voltage feedback of switches is used for triggering main switches to provide ZVS condition. In this method, the advantages of previous control strategy are kept while the need for current sensing is eliminated. Furthermore, the auxiliary switches current stress is reduced and thereby has decreased the conduction losses. The operating principle and design procedure are presented in this paper. Simulation results verify the validity of the proposed scheme.
