Abstract :
In the context of the small signal theory a microwave amplification in a distributed semiconductor structure based on the Smith-Purcell effect has been investigated. The plasma in a semiconductor was considered in quasi-hydrodynamic approximation. A characteristic equation has been obtained and its numerical solution has been arrived at.
