  • Abstract
    Road line type identification is very important in collecting and processing road information. This paper introduces an algorithm of rod line type identification based on cubic spline function, Random Hough Transform, the method of selecting weight iteration based on LS-TLS, and Condition Adjustment with parameters. The algorithm goes as follow. Firstly, we acquire road centerlines coordinates from those lines parallel to centerlines, such as sidelines, by cubic spline function. Secondly, we group all centerlines coordinates by extracting straight line and detecting circle algorithm based on Random Hough Transform. Thirdly, we adjust every group of coordinates by the method of selecting weight iteration based on LS-TLS and computer road line type parameters. Fourthly, we adjust all parameters: road line types, mileages, curvatures, by Condition Adjustment with parameters. At last, this method has proved its availability by a practical example.
