Abstract :
The paper deals with the features of a microwave EM field and discharge structure in a plasma flame formed by the "Torche A Injection Axiale" (TIA) (J. Jonkers et al, Spectrochim. Acta., vol. B 51, p. 1385, 1996). The outline of physical processes in these microwave discharges is discussed.
