Abstract :
Current bio-implantable systems have developed to possess a wireless power and data transmission structure. The two-way data transmission via wireless transmission, we can control the implant system and obtain information from the implanted system. This study presents a transceiver circuit that contains ASK demodulator and FSK modulator with an on-chip power regulator for biomedical implantable systems. This design has been fabricated and tested in TSMC 0.18-μm 1P6M CMOS technology. Transmission system receives external power energy and data by electromagnetic coupling. Power regulator generates a stable power to supply chip or other circuits. In implantable device, the ASK demodulator is used to demodulate the received ASK control signal and clock. FSK modulator is used to modulate the data and transmit the data.
