Abstract :
Ukraine, as with any country in the world, feels the need for services such as telephone communications, data transmission, multiprogram TV, Internet and mobile communications. This paper presents a brief performance summary of the Ukrainian telecommunications market, as well as the conditions which led to the creation and launching of the Ukrainian national telecommunication satellite.
