Abstract :
The various methods of laser location of scattering media (such as atmosphere, cloudiness, water medium etc.) are considered. On the basis of the obtained analytical expressions for errors of definition of both total ε(r) and aerosol εa(r) extinction coefficients of optical radiation from laser sensing results, the common features of their restoration are explained at complex influence of all factors affecting the solution of the optical location equation. The recommendations are offered concerning the assignment of a necessary error of signal measurement, choice of calculation algorithms for, use of the a priori information about optical parameters in different atmospheric and hydrospheric situations for rising a measurement accuracy of total and aerosol extinction coefficients of optical radiation. With allowance for the obtained methodical regularities the principles of build-up of a measuring system are refined.
