Abstract :
This paper looks at the valuable source ofinformation available in the auditory, tactile and visual feedback modes and its importance for new vehicle control systems such as intelligent cruise control. It also looks at effective combinations of feedback modes for the driving task. A study of possible symbols for the intelligent cruise control function is also described
