            Abstract :
Currently, with many popular GIS software platforms occurring, interoperating data in different platforms has an important application value. Taking MIF data for an example, which is the Interchange Format of MapInfo, this article puts forward three ways of MIF data interoperability in ArcGIS platform through the analysis of data format of MIF, namely interoperated Quick Import tool for calling data, directly writing to the Shapefile based on MIF file information, and calling the tool - `Feature class to Shapefile´ of ARCGIS through the analysis of MIF files in order to realize the data interoperation in ArcEngine and Visual studio C-sharp environment. This data interoperated pattern can provide reference for the development of other GIS software platforms.
