Abstract :
In previous works, a scanning technique using two coherent sources with different frequencies f1 and f2, and located at different points of the feeder line, was considered. The superposition of waves from these sources on the nonlinear elements in a radiator results in the so-called wave of intensity. The filtration of one of the combination frequencies (for example, fluctuations at the frequency corresponding to the difference of frequency sources) was suggested. By modifying frequencies of the initial sources according to a certain law it would be possible to modify the difference of phases between adjacent radiators, and, consequently, produce a beam scanning variation without changing the radiation frequency.
