Abstract :
Usually the trap detector is used for measurement of absolute value of power of continuous radiation. In the report, it is informed the use of the trap detector on the basis of silicon photodiodes for measurement of the energy of the pulse laser radiation in the optical range. Theoretical principles of the energy measurement method are formulated. The experimental sample of measuring instrument is created. In the report, date of experimental investigation of this measuring instrument is resulted. Measurements were carried out at various widths (0.1 ms - 0.5 ms), repetition frequencies (25 ms, 50 ms) and forms of pulses. The pulse energy varied in the range 10 - 100 nJ. It is established that the accuracy of measurement of energy of pulse laser radiation by such a method makes less than one percent and practically does not depend on the form of a pulse. On the basis of such measuring instrument it was found out the probability of creation a simple and precision portable measuring instrument of energy of pulses of laser radiation.
