Abstract :
Antennas in the form of lengthy longitudinal slots cut in walls of rectangular cross-sectioned waveguides are the most simple and practically feasible type of leaky wave antennas. In this paper, the lengthy longitudinal slots cut in a wide wall of a rectangular waveguide are investigated. The thickness of the waveguide walls was taken into account in numerical calculations.
