Abstract :
The experimental results of one method of amplitude-frequency characteristic shaping of a KL stop-band filter are presented. These filters are based on waveguide-slot lines with a ferrite resonator placed into a gap in the slot line. The principle characteristics of such structures are the high attenuation level in the stop-band (around 40-50 dB), relatively low attenuation level in the pass-band (it is within 0.5 dB), effective band of tuning is about 10% from central frequency, and manufacturability.
