Abstract
The permittivity and permeability of two-phase composites consisting of carbonyl iron powder embedded in paraffin wax are measured at different frequencies and concentrations of the powder. The analysis of the data obtained at low volume fractions of the powder in the terms of the dilute model yields estimates for the inherent permeability of the filling agent as well as for the structural characteristics of the composites under study.
